Celebration
It was an honor to participate in the joyous occasion in Kolkata on January 27, 2019. Finally the renovations of the home were complete and the residents and staff can live comfortably.
My Annual Visit to AN Homes
During my annual visit to India I was able to meet with various NGO’s and connect them to Asha Niketan Staff and governing council members. By meeting with L’Arche representatives and attending many gatherings I was able to prioritize the needs and assess the progress.
A Visit to Remember
During the month of January, in addition to attending meetings, working on capital projects, participating in several celebrations, I was able to take staff, residents and volunteers to some of historic sites and temples in India. A unique experience for all involved.

On January 26, 2016 core members, staff, volunteers and friends gathered to celebrate the new addition to Asha Jothi in Chennai. Three new core members can join the community, you made it possible. A delightful celebration; after a difficult two months caused by devastating floods in the area.
